THE ISSUE
There is a mental health crisis facing kids in NH. Too many families face long waiting periods or live in communities with insufficient services to deal with issues ranging from anxiety to chronic mental health disorders.
OUR SOLUTION
Our solution is to support the outstanding work already being done by providing schools, youth serving organizations and individuals with the necessary resources to get their jobs done.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
YouthWell was founded with a $1 million gift. In order to sustain our ongoing efforts, we are reaching out to our community for assistance in raising additional funds.
healthy minds • healthy futures
We are dedicated to providing funding for mental health programs and initiatives that provide education, resources, tools and supports for children, youth, families, schools and other youth serving organizations.

"YouthWell NH has been an exceptional partner in advancing youth mental health and prevention efforts in Greater Nashua. Their investment made it possible for us to deliver a prevention education series for elementary school students, covering essential topics including mental health, healthy lifestyles, substance misuse and vaping prevention, and cyberbullying and internet safety. These programs are helping children build the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy choices and thrive. Beyond their financial support, YouthWell NH has been an active and valued member of our coalition. Their team has participated in community initiatives, including events like Real Talk: Parents & Teens Night Out, helping us engage families, strengthen community partnerships, and expand the reach of prevention efforts. We are grateful for a partnership that is making a lasting difference for youth and families throughout Greater Nashua."
Danielle Crowe
former Executive Director, Greater Nashua Prevention Coalition
“We sincerely thank YouthWell NH for their generous grant, which has had a profound impact on our Counselors In Training (CIT) program at Camp Lincoln. With your support, we have been able to elevate mental health awareness among our young leaders, equipping them with essential tools and knowledge to create a more inclusive and supportive environment. Everything we accomplished through this grant ensures that our staff are well-prepared to respond effectively in crisis situations, fostering a healthier and safer space for everyone. Thank you for believing in our mission and empowering us to make a lasting difference in the lives of the youth we serve.”

. “Thanks to the generous support of YouthWell New Hampshire, Friends of Aine continues to provide peer-to-peer grief support groups for grieving children, youth, and teens at our Center for Grieving Children and Families in Manchester. One young participant, a 12-year-old boy, joined our program after losing his father to an opioid overdose. When he first arrived, he believed he was the only child who had experienced such a tragedy. Through the support of his peers, he quickly discovered he was not alone and that he could share his story in a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment. As the group got to know him, they learned that he had taken on the role of caregiver for his father during his addiction, trying to help him and keep him safe. The understanding and empathy he received from other children who simply said, "Me too," helped him feel seen, supported, and connected in a way that only peer support can provide. Stories like this remind us why these groups are so important. The relationships formed through shared experiences give grieving children hope, reduce feelings of isolation, and encourage them to move forward. Friends of Aine is deeply grateful to YouthWell New Hampshire for investing in the mental health and well-being of grieving children and families across New Hampshire. Your generosity makes these life-changing moments of connection and healing possible. Thank you for your partnership and support.”
Christine Phillips
Co-Founder, Friends of Aine
"YouthWell NH's investment has been instrumental in strengthening the Cynthia Day Family Center's ability to care for children and families during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Their support allowed us to expand on-site services for infants through school-age children, ensuring young children had access to therapeutic, developmentally appropriate care while their families focused on recovery. Beyond expanding services, YouthWell helped us build a stronger, more sustainable model of care that will benefit families for years to come. We are grateful for a partnership that is creating brighter futures for children and strengthening families across New Hampshire."

“We are excited to offer our 30-Day Challenge Mental Wellness program at Winnacunnet High School, as well as other schools and teams, thanks to funding from YouthWell New Hampshire. We need new discussions and out-of-the-box ideas to address the mental health challenges of young people today. YouthWell is committed to facilitating innovative programs that will improve the mental well-being of young people in NH and beyond. Our program provides, in a scalable way, a safe and supportive environment for students (and adults) to address emotional challenges and promote self-awareness, empathy, and resilience, and we can’t thank YouthWell New Hampshire enough for helping us to get it off the ground.” -Jeff Levin, Jeff Levin Life Coaching
