Personal Experience & Biography
Morgan Barry is a rising senior at Nashua High School North with a deep commitment to youth mental health advocacy. After winning the People’s Choice Award in NAMI New Hampshire’s Magnify Voices Expressive Art Contest in 2024, Morgan became involved with YouthWell New Hampshire as a youth volunteer. Since then, she has shared her perspective as a teen living through the youth mental health crisis at panels and conferences across the state, becoming a passionate voice for change. Additionally, Morgan is the founder of YouthWell Voices, a statewide, youth-driven, youth-led initiative focused on mental health. YouthWell Voices brings together students from across New Hampshire who are interested in or already involved with mental health advocacy and school-based mental health clubs. The group meets regularly to exchange resources, discuss challenges, and collaborate on efforts to reduce stigma and raise awareness about mental health in schools and broader communities. Outside of YouthWell, Morgan is a Youth Ambassador for the Connor’s Climb Foundation, an organization dedicated to youth suicide prevention, and she serves as President of the Mental Health Club at Nashua High School North. She plans to pursue a career in psychology after graduation, continuing her mission to uplift and advocate for youth mental wellness.
