Youth & Teen Mental Health First Aid Program. This initiative aims to equip adults and teens with the necessary skills to recognize and respond effectively to adolescents experiencing mental health challenges or crises. The overarching goal of this program is to reverse the negative trends identified in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey and DHHS’s Annual Suicide Report by creating a community that is better informed, supportive, and equipped to address the mental health needs of youth and teens. By fostering a network of trained adults and empowered teens, we aim to create a resilient community that prioritizes mental health and well-being.
